Alternative Longboards Warranty Policy

Alternative Longboards brand stands for high quality and technologically advanced boards. We handshape our boards and make sure each one of them meets the expectations of even the most demanding riders. 

Returns

If you are not satisfied with the product, you can return the unused deck to us, unless is custom shaped (with your own graphic and/or with the engraved inscription). A fresh deck with a serial number and one of our graphics will find a new home easily, but the one with a graphic of your dog and the engraved name of your mom may not.

You have 30 days to return the board to get a full refund (excluding shipping cost). If you decide to do so, please email us at info@alternativelongboards.com (subject: Return + order number; let us know the reason for sending back the board we always appreciate feedback) and send the product back to:

You will receive a return once we receive the board and examine if it’s still brand new.Please send it back in the original packaging or make sure it is packed safely, so it won’t get hurt in transport. Choose the shipping method providing you with a tracking number so the board won’t get lost.

Warranty

If your board delaminates or distorts within 2 years after receiving it, take photos of the defect and contact us immediately at info@alternativelongboards.com. Send the photos/video along with the description. If the request qualifies for the warranty, we will ask you to send the board to our workshop for inspection.

The warranty covers repair or replacement of the decks with manufacturing or material defects only. We cannot take responsibility for the misuse of the boards and normal wear. 

The warranty doesn’t cover: wear, warping due to water or heat exposure, damage due to the inappropriate installation of accessories, intentional breakage, breakage resulting from misuse e.g. landing high-impact tricks on your Ostrich soft by your 120 kg friend.

To claim the warranty you must provide a receipt from an authorized dealer or proof of purchase. Decks purchased from an unauthorized source such as a Facebook group or a dude from around a corner may not be subject to warranty. 

Once we evaluate if the deck is eligible for a warranty, we will repair or replace the faulty board.
