Made in Poland, in late 80'. The Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice graduate. Works in an animation studio in Warsaw as an illustrator and art director, partly freelancing at home in her green "home office". Meet the author of the fourth sign, Magdalena Koźlicka.

I know Alternative brand from my own experience - when I started longboarding around 4 years ago, the Alternative deck was my second board, but my first dancing deck.

Since then I fell in love with longboard dancing. Asking me to take part in this project made me extremely happy. I’ve never dreamt of making my own design for a longboard before.

I love to observe and draw daily life from my own experience and the people around me. I also love simple shapes and compositions, deformations, and retro/vintage vibe. I always start my designs with very rough sketches, to catch the composition and layout I have in my mind. Sometimes I improve them on paper, sometimes right away in graphic apps (mainly Photoshop).

I’m inspired by nature and femininity. That's why Virgo was my choice - it seems the most feminine of all zodiac signs. Today Virgo is depicted as a more feminist and independent woman than it was in the past, who can find herself in every situation, with what I identify, too.

Virgo also loves harmony - and I was looking for symmetry in my design. Virgo is very accurate - that's why she looks through the wheel as a magnifier to find out some details that nobody else would look for.
